United Way of LaPorte County is the collective power of everyone in LaPorte County working together to change lives. We need your help. It takes all of us, uniting our efforts and money to improve the quality of life among our families, friends, and neighbors. United Way leads the nonprofit sector in transparent accountability and measurable results.

Other important facts:

• Contributions to the United Way Community Fund help support 26 United Way member agencies that provide vital health and human services across LaPorte County.  Every partner agency is held to the highest standards of performance and accountability.  Last year, more than 40% of the population of LaPorte County directly benefited from United Way programs and services.  
• We also work diligently to find solutions to the most pressing social issues in our community.  For example, earlier in 2010 we established a new initiative called Success By 6, designed to better prepare children for success in school and ultimately for in life.
• 98.5 cents of every dollar contributed to the United Way of LaPorte County Community Fund stays in LaPorte County.
