United Way of LaPorte County Board
An 17-member volunteer Board of Directors exercises total decision making and policy setting authority over the United Way of LaPorte County. These volunteers come from all walks of life throughout LaPorte County and are accountable to the people of this community. When people or firms contribute to the United Way campaign, their funds come under the stewardship of these volunteers who work diligently to keep necessary costs to a minimum. Ted Bogich is Vice President and General Manager of Blue Chip Casino, Hotel & Spa in Michigan City, a position held since February 2007. Also, Ted serves as Vice Chair with United Way of LaPorte County, and he has been a board member since January 2009.
Ted has been in the gaming industry for 23 years and most recently with Boyd Gaming Corporation since 2004. Ted is a native of Minnesota and graduate of the University of Minnesota. Ted, his wife Gretchen, and their two boys, Zachary and Colton, reside in Chesterton, Indiana.
