Tim's work experience includes starting off as a Secondary teacher at Marquette, Rogers, and Elston High Schools, then Assistant Principal at Elston High School, and then on to be the Principal at Elston High School and then Michigan City High School. He then served at the Central Office Administration and then as the President of Michigan City Area Chamber of Commerce. He is currently a Business and Education Consultant with the Center of Workforce Innovations (NWI Workforce Investment Board).
Tim's life of service began with being the President of the Michigan City Advancement Corporation and board member of the Michigan City Economic Development Corporation, NIPSCO Citizen Action Panel, Indiana Toll Road Citizen Action Panel and Michigan City Mainstreet Association. He now serves as the board cahir of the Michigan City Preservation and Education Foundation (liaison for Artspace Project), is the Co-founder and board member of Michigan City North End Advocacy Team (McNEAT) and is a United Way of LaPorte County board member.
Tim has his B.A. from Purdue University in Secondary Education with endorsements in Psychology, Sociology and Government, M.A. from Valparaiso University in Psychology, Secondary School Administration Certification from Purdue University and Safe Schools Specialist Certification from the State of Indiana Department of Education.
