Currently as superintendent of the LaPorte Community Schools, he oversees all aspects of the district including supervising all eleven schools, working with the central office staff, and staying engaged in the community.
Continued educational growth and life-long learning are essential to sustaining effective leadership. Glade earned bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees from Purdue University and also graduated from the Indiana Principals Leadership Academy in the spring of 2004.
While in Lafayette, Glade served on several boards including the YMCA, Tippecanoe County Board of Health, and Junior Achievement. He has served as a volunteer coach for Lafayette Youth Baseball. In addition, Glade also served on the Tippecanoe County United Way campaign cabinet.
