Your local United Way has worked hard to create a fun-filled week of activities to kick off their Campaign season!

Save the date(s) for August 15th thru August 19th, a whole week of fun!

Each day will be centered around an activity or event to showcase how important a local United Way organization is.

This week has a little something for everyone, so come out and celebrate with us!

WIMS Radio Show —Wake up with Kris Pate, Dave Sisk, and Ellen Meihofer on the WIMS Radio show as they go live to talk about all the things that your local United Way has done in the previous years, and what they have planned for the rest of 2022 and beyond!

Day of Giving (all day event) give on our online platform here and be sure to follow along on our social media!

“Mission Impossible” Fundraising Event @ Emerson House (invite only) a night to mingle, learn and support your local United Way by making a donation, wine and cheese will be served.

Wednesday august 17, 2022

“HUMP DAY” with United Way (Heart, “U”, Muscle and Partners)—Volunteer Day (1pm – 4pm) Can “U” spare a few hours of your time and talents to support our local not-for-profits? Let’s show them how much we appreciate all they do for our communities on August 17th from 1 – 4 p.m. Where there’s a “U”, there’s a way!

Race the Night Away 5k Run/Walk—Come out and join us for a night of fun! Help us to raise funds to help United Way bridge any gaps in areas like supporting children and youth, food services, financial stability and others where our neighbor’s needs are the greatest.

Start time: 6pm
Where: Blue Chip Casino Hotel & Spa

Come for the run and stay for the AFTER PARTY at the Blue Chip following the race!
